Guided Hikes & Bike Rides

Our registered hike leaders organize guided hikes, bike rides and other events throughout the year.

  • Participants are not required to be MTA members, although one of the perks of membership is receiving event notices directly to your inbox.

  • Each participant must complete the online waiver (once a year) before participating.

  • Participation is free, however, pre-registration with the hike leader is required as events may be cancelled or rescheduled.

  • Read the event description fully. Our hike leaders have the right to refuse unprepared hikers and suggest a more suitable outing for them.

  • For group bike rides, participants must wear a helmet and use a bike that they are comfortable with on uneven terrain and gravel. The duration of the ride is advertised in advance. Be sure you are comfortable riding the complete distance.

  • Contact the hike leader before the event if you have any questions.  We want everyone to enjoy the day.
